Charles Porter, my 86-year-old father, is a retired attorney and judge who has always loved cars—particularly Cords. When I was a kid, he took me to Cord West Coast meets. About 10 years ago, we went to the big, annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival, in Auburn, Ind., and that’s where we had the idea for this build and this car.
